You could say Amena is a good person. You could say Amena is a bad person. What you dont know is that she is a mix of both. With her firecracker self, Amena can be outgoing and friendly toward others. Always ready to help when she can, even in her weakest state. She became a Squire becuase it was the only sure fire why she could help people right? Thats not completely true. She joined to help people and protect those weaker then herself. But when not on duty, if you're lucky, you'll meet another side of Amena. Her thieving side.

Many have given her a bad name because of this. In truth, Amena is doing it for good. You could compare her to the modern day Robin hood if you wished. Steal from the rich, give to the poor, etc. This isnt always the case. Amena has stolen from a variety of people on many society levels. Wether its to replace a loaf of stale bread with a roasted chicken, or steal a fake necklace from thugs to give to a little old lady. Its always different. But the meaning behind the theiving is always a good one. She knows the consequences of thieving, so she refrains from doing it often.

Other then that, Amena seems like your typical happy go lucky girl with an attitude. She enjoys being around others, especially close friends. She's mainly nice and easy to get along with, that is if she likes you. But she's also hardheaded and strong willed. Once she makes up her mind its pretty much over with. Unless by some miracle you can change it. With a will as strong as a Buffolant, Amena has found herself face to face with giant oppents. But one of her flaws is not thinking before rushing to a battle when others are in danger. Its also one of her most vibraint qualities. Willing to lay her life down for others, Amena has a fearless side that sometimes cant be beat.

Except when it comes to Water. You will notice that she tends to stay from any source of water. She can tolerate being closer to smaller sources of water, similar to a glass of water or puddle. If near an ocean or well, you wont find her within ten feet of it. Her fear runs deep enough to keep her from even drinking it or going out into the rain. Sometimes contact with water will/normaly does send her into a collapsed state. But she doesnt tell people her fear of water, but people discover it quickly.

Aside from her outgoing personality, she also has a shy side. She's not as naive about things like crushes or relationships. But can be oblivious at times if its directed at her. Unless you call her out on it. She turns into a blushing mess, barely able to talk. I guess you coud say she can be embarrased easily.

You can also spook her if you sneak up on her quietly. If she's concentrating on something or in lalaland its quite easy to give this Purrloin a heart attack.

Fairly easily to get along with, Amena does have her quirks and flaws. But you'll find yourself face to face with a friend to the end. Loyal, determined, hardhead, strong willied, there's many more words that describe her. But isnt it funer to find out for yourself?

-Amena has a secret. She believes she has an illness that is slowly killing her and at points she is put to bed for a time. The first sign is the heat radiating from her. She's a natural cool feeling girl usually. She hates the illness so she decided to keep it a secret from everyone around her. When in fact she just has a weak immune system.

-Cooler to the touch, then most hot blooded 'mons. Its unusual for her to feel warm to the touch. It's a sign she's getting sick.

-Instead of drinking water, she sucks or squeezes the juice out of fruit.

-You can find her dancing by herself often in her free time. She enjoys dancing and does it every chance she gets.

-Another hobby is singing. She may not be the best singer, but she does it often in her performances.

-She trys to perform as much as possible for the kingdom.

-Taking care of little ones, sometimes you can find her with a group of kids. She loves kids to death, and seems to have a motherly instinct to her.

She collapses, holding her head, or itching at her neck. Eyes are usually distant, fearful, and small pupils.

History

Amena was born in the capital of Badiya on a crisp and cool night. But sadly her family was on their own. Her mother struggled with the birthing process. But fortunately the Legendary Pokemon Terrakion must have been watching over them. Amena was born with a wailing scream that filled her family with hope. And so thus, her life began in Badiya.

Her Weavile father was a tradesman, carrying the items his wife made far away to the borderlines, where he sat at the cross roads and traded with travelers. He wasn’t home very often, but when he was, you could tell he loved his family with all his heart. He was born into a family of travelers, and so as customs were, he took the traveler’s path. One day he made his way through the kingdom and spotted a lovely Liepard. The two talked and soon fell in love. He doesn’t truly know what happened with her family, but the Weavile was happy to be there for her. He worked hard to provide for the growing family. He soon discovered Amena's interest in not only his work, but the trades of a thief. He never told his wife about his nor Amena’s little midnight thieving.

Her Liepard mother was a craftswoman, spending most of the day weaving baskets or sewing rugs. The items she made, her husband carried for miles to trade. She remained home with the children, her three daughters. She was once a noblewoman, higher on the bar and in the good Royal's court. But she fell in love with a traveler, and the consequences tore her heart in two. Her family turned away from her, and the one there opened his hand to her along with his heart, and she took it. Now she tries her best to teach her growing daughters the noble’s way. She found it easier with the older two, while Amena wished to follow her father on his trips.

Her twin Sneasel sisters grew to learn their mother’s trade, since it was uncustomary for a woman to do a man's job. They learned the noble ways and the crafts that their mother taught. They loved their younger sister, but also envied the time she spent with their father. It wasn’t till after an incident that the older sisters rallied against the younger.

Amena was only six when the sickness began. Her mother became frantic with worry, always fussing over how weak she was. Even the common cold seemed life threatening to her daughter. Her father started to stay home more and more. It seemed Amena was always sick, always in bed sleeping a lot. This is when her sisters began to really envy her. Amena's father stayed by her side most of the time, and she enjoyed the tales he taught and the songs he sang. Her mother was beginning to give up on her youngest daughter, so she turned to the elder sisters, almost pushing Amena away for good.

This caused fighting between her father and mother, and Amena was in the middle of it. She would question her father many times when he came to check up on her, why he and her mother fought, and why her mother didn’t love her. Her father would never tell her, only sing her to sleep with a sweet lullaby. One day, her mother lashed out, leaving her husband scarred and broken spirited. The two grew further apart, but her father stayed because he loved his family. Amena’s mother became even more distant from Amena and put all her attention into the older sisters. The twins blamed Amena for their father’s broken state and Amena blamed herself. The family began to break down.

At the age of eight, not long after the youngest twin passed away from an illness, Amena decided to drag her depressed mother and silent sister down to the lake. She thought it would help cheer them up. But what started out as a beautiful day suddenly turned dark. While out swimming, Amena was suddenly attacked! An Eelektross had picked her for a snack and would have gotten away with it to if it hadn’t been for her father. Luckily the Weavile had followed the family down to the lake. After a quick underwater battle, her father carried his unconscious daughter to the surface. Once there he discovered then his other daughter and his wife were there. This angered him. After bringing his daughter back to the breathing world, he carried her home with rage boiling inside him.

Once home, her father put Amena to bed, but not without noticing her health had turned for the worse. After seeing to her, he turned his anger on his wife. It was a one sided argument with his wife, since she was unresponsive. Finally giving up he went and sat with Amena, and waited for her to wake up.

It was a week before she woke up, and when she did all she saw was her fathers face and his grip on her hand. He looked like he had been run over by a stampede of Tauros. She reached over and ran a weak paw over his head. The action jerked her father awake and the two reunited in joy. And things would change.

Amena left with her father, who decided it was time to leave. They left behind her mother and sister, traveling far over the land till they came to a little tribe close to the borderlines. They settled down there, and Amena began to learn the art of dancing and singing. And she excelled at both.

By the age of 15, Amena barely remembered her old home, whether this was by accident or choice, it didn’t matter. For those five years, she and her father where happy. Amena became a widely known performer in the countryside, and her thieving habits never went sour. She began to understand her 'illness' and tried to hide it. But the days she fell ill only pushed her harder to become stronger. And she never wanted anything to do with water. She feared it and the Eelektross that swam among its depths. Her want for adventure grew ever stronger.

On her sixteenth birthday, Amena was given her dagger, a gift from her father who put every penny he could into the trade. Her father no longer traveled, but he resigned to working with a blacksmith nearby. Amena was happy to take it. That night, Amena begged her Father to let her travel to new lands. He agreed to her surprise. The two shared a loving goodbye and promises of seeing each other in the future.

Amena set off that following morning and her nine months of seeing the lands, was both exciting and dangerous. She encountered many problems, but luckily got through them. The fun she had and the experience she gained was nothing she could ever replace.

Just two months shy of her seventeenth birthday, she arrived at Aether, where she was welcomed by many. She found herself in a maze to gain a trinket that she left behind. She quickly made friends. She battled danger by their side, or well his, since her only friend so far was a Shinx named Hiroki. And a frenemy, Melnik the Leafeon. She had several fun adventures with Hiroki, the last being a chase of a child stealing Misdreavus. Afterwards she went to tackle a Quilava in the woods alone, but it didn’t end well. She found herself in the hospital several days later. When she woke, she stole away in the night, leaving behind all her belongings except for her dagger.

Now after weeks of traveling the Purrloin returned to Aether, refreshed, ready to start her next adventure.
